How do I use the dispatch board?

The Dispatch Board is your live operations view — Dispatch Board · Live Operations. It's where a dispatcher works the day in real time.

Reading the board

Bookings are grouped into columns:

  • In Flight — checked out and airborne
  • Checked In — pre-flight done, not yet departed
  • Upcoming — confirmed and due
  • Available — resources free to dispatch
  • Completed — recently closed out

A stat strip across the top counts In Flight, Upcoming, Available, and Completed.

Staying current

  • Auto toggles auto-refresh. On, the board polls every 30 seconds (Auto-refresh on (30s)); off, it's Auto-refresh paused. The footer shows Last sync: with the time.
  • Refresh manually any time to pull the current state immediately.

Working a flight

  • Check In opens the pre-flight gate — see [[scheduling-check-in-a-flight]].
  • Check Out records the end readings — see [[scheduling-check-out-a-flight]].
  • New booking starts a booking from the board.

The dispatch board requires the bookings:manage permission. See [[scheduling-permissions]].
