What scheduling settings can I configure?

Scheduling settings live in the school settings, under the Scheduling section (the Scheduling → Settings link redirects there). They control booking windows, approvals, check-in, recurring, and student weather limits.

Booking windows and approval

Setting What it does
min_booking_notice_minutes Minimum advance notice required to book
max_booking_advance_days How far ahead students can book
admin_max_booking_advance_days How far ahead admins can book
allow_student_self_booking Whether students can book for themselves
require_instructor_approval Bookings wait for CFI sign-off
require_admin_approval Bookings wait for admin sign-off
allow_student_cancellation Whether students can cancel their own bookings

Check-in and pre-flight

enable_check_in Require check-in before a flight dispatches
check_in_window_minutes_before How early check-in opens
check_in_window_minutes_after How late check-in stays open
require_squawk_review Force the squawk-review checkbox
require_weather_check Force a weather Go/No-Go
require_pre_flight_checklist Force custom checklist items

Recurring, slots, and no-shows

Setting What it does
recurring_generation_weeks_ahead How many weeks of recurring bookings to generate
slot_granularity_minutes Time increment for booking slots
auto_release_no_show_minutes Auto-mark a no-show this many minutes after start
