How do I quick-book a slot from the calendar?

How do I quick-book a slot from the calendar?

When you're already looking at the calendar, you don't need the full wizard. Double-click the slot and HangarOS pre-fills it for you.

Steps

  1. Open Schedule and switch to Day or Week view.
  2. Double-click the time slot you want. If you click inside an aircraft or instructor lane, that resource is captured too.
  3. The quick-book modal opens with the Date, Start Time, and Resource already set from the slot you clicked.
  4. Fill in the booking type and any remaining fields, then submit.

The quick-book modal creates the booking the same way the full wizard does, including the conflict check. For the longer path with every step, see [[scheduling-book-a-lesson]].
