Why does the Dispatch Assistant return no suggestions?

Symptom: You send a command to the Dispatch Assistant and instead of bookings you see the panel No suggestions available with the message Add an aircraft to your fleet and publish instructor availability to get scheduling suggestions.

Cause

When the assistant returns zero suggestions, the underlying reason is almost always a setup gap rather than a fault in the command. The page treats it that way and surfaces the actionable message above.

The most common gaps:

  • No aircraft in the fleet for the requested booking.
  • No instructor has published availability for the requested week.
  • No base/location is configured.

The page also rewrites raw backend phrases into plain language before showing them, so the AI Interpretation or message text may say things like no instructor has published availability for this week or no aircraft is available rather than internal field names.

Fix

  1. Confirm at least one active aircraft exists in your fleet.
  2. Publish instructor availability for the dates in your command.
