Why does Smart Schedule return no suggestions?

Symptom: You click Smart Suggest in the New Booking wizard and instead of slots you see the message No suggestions available for the selected date. Try removing your aircraft or instructor preference, or pick a different date.

Cause

Smart Suggest searches for an open slot on the selected date that matches your preferences. When Preferred Aircraft or Preferred Instructor is set, it narrows the search; combined with a busy or empty date, that can leave nothing to suggest. The page surfaces either the backend's own message or the fallback text above.

A different error, Failed to get AI suggestions., means the request itself failed rather than returning an empty list.

Fix

  1. Reset Preferred Aircraft to Any aircraft and Preferred Instructor to Any instructor.
  2. Pick a different date.
  3. Click Smart Suggest again.
  4. If you see Failed to get AI suggestions., retry; if it persists, confirm the AI module is enabled.
