How do I cancel a booking?
Cancelling records why the booking didn't fly, which keeps your no-show and cancellation reporting honest.
Steps
- Open the booking's detail panel.
- Click to cancel, then confirm.
- Pick a cancellation category:
- Student Request
- Instructor Unavailable
- Aircraft Unavailable
- Weather
- Maintenance
- Scheduling Error
- Other
- Add an optional reason and confirm the cancellation.
The booking moves to Cancelled. A cancellation made close to the start time may be recorded as Late Cancel instead — see [[scheduling-booking-statuses-reference]].
Who can cancel
Students can cancel their own bookings only when allow_student_cancellation is on. Admins and instructors can always cancel from the detail panel.
