My notification preferences do not stick
My notification preferences do not stick
Symptom: my notification toggles reset on another browser or device
Notification preferences are saved in your browser, not on the server. That makes them per browser and per device.
Because preferences live in the browser, they do not follow you between browsers, devices, or incognito sessions, and clearing site data resets them. Set them again on each browser you use.
Symptom: the Save button is greyed out
Save stays disabled until the company context and your membership have finished loading. Wait for the bases to load (Loading bases… clears) and try again.
Symptom: I do not see all my bases as tabs
The tab strip lists All bases (default) plus every active company base. Bases are pulled from the company's active locations, so an inactive or unconfigured base will not appear. Confirm the base is active under the operating locations — see [[scheduling-add-an-operating-location]].
Symptom: a category I turned off still seems to alert me
Each base inherits the All bases (default) settings until you customise that specific base. If you only changed All bases, a base you previously customised keeps its own values. Open that base's tab and set the category there. See [[account-set-notification-preferences]].
