How do I delete my user account?

Deleting your account is permanent and verified with a code. This removes your user, the companies you solely own, and your settings.

  1. Go to /dashboard/account and open the Delete Account tab.
  2. Read the warning, then click Delete my account.
  3. A confirmation panel asks Are you absolutely sure?. Click Yes, delete my account.
  4. A verification code is sent to your email. The page shows Verification code sent to your email.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code in Email verification code and click Confirm deletion. Use Resend code if it does not arrive.
  6. Once deletion succeeds you are signed out and redirected to the home page.

If you have an authenticator app set up, step 5 also lets you switch between Email code and Authenticator app for the verification code.

Notes

  • This deletes your user account, not a single company. To remove one company while keeping your account, see [[account-delete-company]].
  • The action cannot be undone. Companies you solely own are removed along with their data.
