How do I delete my user account?
Deleting your account is permanent and verified with a code. This removes your user, the companies you solely own, and your settings.
- Go to
/dashboard/account and open the Delete Account tab.
- Read the warning, then click
Delete my account.
- A confirmation panel asks
Are you absolutely sure?. Click Yes, delete my account.
- A verification code is sent to your email. The page shows
Verification code sent to your email.
- Enter the 6-digit code in
Email verification code and click Confirm deletion. Use Resend code if it does not arrive.
- Once deletion succeeds you are signed out and redirected to the home page.
If you have an authenticator app set up, step 5 also lets you switch between Email code and Authenticator app for the verification code.
Notes
- This deletes your user account, not a single company. To remove one company while keeping your account, see [[account-delete-company]].
- The action cannot be undone. Companies you solely own are removed along with their data.
