A Settings tab or module control is missing

Symptom: a Settings tab I expect is not in the nav

Tabs on /dashboard/companies/<companyId>/settings are gated two ways: by permission and by active module.

• If you lack the tab's required permission, the tab is hidden. Company, Modules, and Notifications need company:manage; Roster needs users:manage; Base Activity needs audit:view; the module tabs need settings:manage. The full table is in [[account-settings-tabs-reference]].
• Scheduling, Maintenance, Training, and Invoicing only appear when their module is enabled. Turn the module on from the Modules tab — see [[account-enable-disable-modules]].

If you open a tab by URL that you cannot see, the page falls back to the first tab available to you.

Symptom: the whole Modules page is blank or says "No modules configured."

The Modules list shows No modules configured. with the note that modules become available once the workspace is fully provisioned. If this is unexpected for an established company, use the Refresh → link first; if it persists, contact support.

Symptom: a module toggle is locked and will not switch off

Required modules render as a locked, on toggle with a lock icon. Hovering shows Required — cannot be disabled. These cannot be turned off.

Symptom: Save changes on the Company tab is greyed out

The Save changes button on the Company tab is disabled while a save is in progress or when the Company name field is empty. Enter a name to enable it. See [[account-edit-company-info]].

Symptom: I cannot open Modules at all

The Modules tab requires the billing:manage permission to render its contents. Without it the panel will not load even if the tab is shown. Ask an owner to grant the permission — see [[security-assign-roles-and-scope]].
