How do I connect QuickBooks Online to Invoicing?

School-to-student invoicing is QuickBooks Online-only. You connect it once from Invoicing Settings, and HangarOS uses that connection to create flight invoices.

Connect QuickBooks

  1. Open Invoicing Settings. From the Invoicing landing page or sidebar, the Settings route redirects to Settings → Invoicing.
  2. In the QuickBooks Online card, select Connect with QuickBooks. The button reads Redirecting to Intuit... while it works.
  3. You are redirected to Intuit to sign in and authorize. HangarOS only follows redirect URLs on accounts.intuit.com or appcenter.intuit.com; an untrusted URL is refused with Untrusted QuickBooks redirect URL — refusing to navigate.
  4. After you authorize, you return to Invoicing Settings with a QuickBooks connected! Verifying... notice. HangarOS reloads settings and runs a connection test automatically.

Confirm the connection

The QuickBooks Online card header shows a status pill:

  • Connected — connection is healthy.
  • 30d left / 14d left style countdown — the refresh token is nearing expiry; reconnect before it reaches zero.
  • Reconnect — the refresh token has expired; invoicing through QuickBooks stops until you reconnect.
  • Not connected — no connection yet.

Select Test Connection to verify on demand. On success you get Connected to <company name>; the connected company name and country are shown next to a Test Connection result line.

Disconnect

  1. In the QuickBooks Online card, select Disconnect.
  2. Confirm in the Disconnect QuickBooks? panel. The warning reads Future invoices will stop syncing until you reconnect.
  3. Choose Yes, disconnect. You get a QuickBooks disconnected confirmation.
